How a cruise transfer actually runs.

Two scenarios cover almost every cruise transfer. Embarkation day (arriving at the pier) is the higher-stakes one because of boarding cutoffs. Disembarkation day is calmer because the ship has already arrived.
8:30 AM

Flight arrival

Land at Sea-Tac. We track your flight in real-time and adjust pickup automatically for delays.

9:00 AM

Meet & greet

Chauffeur at baggage claim with sign. Luggage loaded into vehicle.

9:30 AM

Direct to pier

25–40 minute drive to Pier 66 or Pier 91 depending on your line.

10:30 AM

Pier check-in

Luggage drop with cruise porters. Chauffeur unloads, you proceed to check-in.

11:30 AM

On the ship

Boarding open. You're on the ship hours before sail. Vacation begins.

6:00 AM

Ship arrives

Ship docks at Pier 66 or Pier 91. Disembarkation begins in waves.

7:30 AM

Wave assignment

You disembark by assigned color group. Average 7:30–9:30 AM window.

8:00 AM

Chauffeur curbside

Chauffeur waiting at pier curbside. Loads luggage. No long wait.

8:30 AM

To Sea-Tac (or hotel)

Direct return. Optional hotel stop if you booked a post-cruise stay.

9:30 AM

Drop at terminal

Sea-Tac departure terminal. Comfortable time before flight.

Most cruise bookings fit one of these.

Cruise passengers usually book one of three patterns. Pick the one that matches your trip — we'll handle the operational details from there.
01

Sea-Tac → Pier (same day)

Most common. Fly into Sea-Tac the morning of embarkation, transfer directly to your pier. Works for cruises with boarding windows starting at noon or later.

  • Flight tracking included
  • Meet-and-greet at baggage claim
  • Direct to pier — no stops
  • Curbside luggage handoff
02

Pier → Sea-Tac (return)

Cruise return transfer. Ship arrives 6–7 AM, you disembark in waves between 7:30–10 AM. Chauffeur waits curbside and runs you straight to Sea-Tac.

  • Cruise arrival tracking
  • Curbside pickup at pier
  • Direct to Sea-Tac terminal
  • Optional hotel stop available
03

Two-leg cruise package

Arrive at Sea-Tac the day before, overnight in a downtown hotel, and transfer to the pier in the morning. Lower-stress for high-stakes cruise trips and family groups.

  • Sea-Tac → hotel (day before)
  • Hotel → pier (cruise morning)
  • Two separate bookings or hourly
  • Coordinator-level planning

Cruise transfers, fully inclusive.

The cruise transfer flat rate covers everything between the pickup point and the pier — luggage, tracking, gratuity, and the small operational details that matter when a 4-figure cruise depends on transport.

The flat rate covers everything.

Cruise transfers are higher-stakes than ordinary airport runs because the consequence of being late is missing the ship — and most cruise lines won't refund missed embarkations. The pricing reflects the operational care this requires.

  • Real-time flight tracking. We monitor FAA data for your inbound flight. Delays or early arrivals automatically adjust dispatch.
  • Meet-and-greet at Sea-Tac. Chauffeur waits at baggage claim with a sign. Helps with luggage from carousel to vehicle.
  • Luggage handling end-to-end. From baggage claim to vehicle to pier curbside, your chauffeur handles the bags. Standard pier porters take it from there.
  • Cruise line check-in timing. We schedule pickup based on your cruise line's published boarding window — not when you booked the pickup, when the cruise opens boarding.
  • 60 minutes of free wait time. Standard for Sea-Tac airport transfers. Includes customs, baggage, restrooms with plenty of buffer.
  • Chauffeur gratuity. Built into every quoted rate. You won't be asked to tip your chauffeur at the pier.

Every route. Flat rate.

From a passenger who almost missed the boat.

Real review from a Princess cruise passenger whose family of five almost missed embarkation due to a 3-hour flight delay. The transfer turned out fine — but the story shows how cruise transfers actually work when something goes wrong.
★★★★★

"Sea-Tac transfer for a family of five plus luggage to a Princess cruise at Pier 91. Driver was waiting at baggage claim with a sign, helped with bags, and got us to the pier with time to spare. Flat rate was honored exactly as quoted."

When to book your cruise transfer.

Cruise transfers are less seasonal than weddings — but Alaska cruise season (May through September) is our busiest window. Saturdays especially. Book early for guaranteed vehicle availability.

Cruise booking by season.

Alaska cruise season runs May through September, with peak demand on Saturday and Sunday embarkations. Off-season repositioning cruises (October through April) have far more flexibility. For Sprinter group transfers, longer lead time is recommended year-round.

  • Alaska season Saturdays (May–Sep)4–8 weeks ahead
  • Alaska season weekdays2–4 weeks ahead
  • Group Sprinter or larger2–4 weeks ahead
  • Off-season cruises (Oct–Apr)1–2 weeks ahead
  • Disembarkation returns1–2 weeks ahead
  • Same-day add-on (sedan)Usually possible

What cruise passengers actually ask.

Pricing, pier assignment, luggage, flight delays, disembarkation, and the questions every cruise passenger has before booking transport.
How much is a cruise transfer in Seattle?+

Seattle cruise port transfers are flat-rate. From Sea-Tac Airport: Pier 66 sedan $109, SUV $149, Sprinter $285. Pier 91 sedan $115, SUV $155, Sprinter $295. From downtown hotels: $79 sedan / $109 SUV. From Bellevue: $129 sedan / $169 SUV. All rates include luggage handling, flight tracking, and chauffeur gratuity.

Which cruise lines use Pier 66 vs Pier 91 in Seattle?+

Pier 66 (Bell Street Cruise Terminal) serves Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises. Pier 91 (Smith Cove Cruise Terminal) serves Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Holland America, Celebrity Cruises, and most other major lines. Confirm your pier on your cruise documents — embarkation address matters.

How early should we arrive at the cruise port?+

Most cruise lines recommend arriving 2–3 hours before the published departure time. For embarkations between 12 PM and 2 PM, plan to be at the pier between 10 AM and 12 PM. Check-in lines build quickly after 11 AM. We coordinate pickup times based on your cruise's published boarding window.

Do you provide luggage assistance at the cruise pier?+

Yes. Your chauffeur loads luggage at pickup and unloads at the curbside luggage drop at your specific pier. From there, porters take it to the ship. Standard sedan handles 3 standard suitcases; SUV handles 6; Sprinter handles 14. For unusual luggage (multiple golf bags, oversized items, wheelchairs), call ahead to confirm the right vehicle.

What if our flight to Sea-Tac is delayed on cruise day?+

We track your flight in real time via FAA data and adjust dispatch automatically. If the delay puts your cruise boarding window at risk, we contact you immediately and coordinate the fastest viable route. Most cruise lines have a 'last call' boarding cutoff — we work with you to make it. For high-risk flight timing, we recommend booking at least one night in a Seattle hotel before your cruise.

Can you handle Sea-Tac to hotel to Pier on cruise day?+

Yes. Many cruise passengers arrive a day early and stay overnight in downtown Seattle. We can pick you up at Sea-Tac the day before, drop at your hotel, then return the next morning to take you to the cruise pier. Two separate transfers, or book hourly for flexibility. Either approach works.

Do you serve cruise returns (disembarkation to Sea-Tac)?+

Yes. We monitor cruise arrival times and dispatch chauffeurs to meet you at the disembarkation curbside. Most ships disembark in waves between 7 AM and 10 AM. We can also coordinate a hotel stop and Sea-Tac return for passengers who want a relaxed exit. Same flat-rate pricing in reverse.

Do you offer group cruise transfers for large families?+

Yes. For groups of 6–14 passengers, our Sprinter vans are ideal — single vehicle, single chauffeur, and 14-bag luggage capacity. For groups of 15+, we coordinate mini-coaches (24–32 passengers) or motor coaches (45–60 passengers). Group cruise bookings should be made 2–4 weeks in advance for guaranteed availability.
